The actions of Mr. Santos was very relevant and had a positive affect on my viewpoint. This gentleman was looking to improve the prescreening of cancer based on the way his aunt was treated in her discovery of stage 3 cancer in her body. She was a healthy woman who had lived a fit and strong life that did not include drugs, alcohol or improper dieting.
All she had was constant back pain and it grew into her being told she lung cancer after a series of tests. In this instance it was scene that the process were still in the 20th century and had to be brought forward. This is relevant because the treatment are 21st century and improving everyday.
To combat this type of occurrence Mr. Santos worked with RNA expert Fay Christodoulou an other scientists and technologists from Chile, Panama, Mexico and beyond (they all met Singularity University) (McClure, 2014). They were able to solidify the cancer results by using a micoRNA blood test. These results allowed the specific cancer to be identified by the small molecules.
These type of results are not normal as they are normally found in other countries of more stature and financial capability. However the desire and dream of what a person was influenced by. This allowed him to take a chance and work toward saving the life of someone he loved. This action also has given new life to those who felt they did not have a chance against the disease as it would not be detected early enough.
The video provides a much clearer picture of the process and how it can shape the battle against the disease. In addition the technology and other aspects are shown in a clearer light and how they can influence the outcome. Therefore it is highly recommend to be viewed and absorbed.

Innovation influence and effects:
Cultural: The service will available to everyone as the price will go down within a small amount of time (1 to 3 years). At present the developers of the tests have already minimized the costs to be provided in third world countries
Technological: The technology used is based on current developments within the medical field and technological fields. As the equipment gets cheaper more testing will be available to everyone.
